Too Much Violence
The world is unruly.
Parents are not “parenting”, teens are of the under-developed 25 year old brains of being indestructible and making poor decisions…
The social media platforms are unruly and out-of-control.
Bad behavior is bad behavior. Who is responsible for that? Honestly, parents! BUT environment plays the largest aspect.
Defunding police has only tied their hands and allowed for crime to escalate.
It was naively believed that all police were targeting minorities, what has come to the forefront, is that these groups, these neighborhoods ARE the problem.
Most recently, the beloved farm and entertainment venue, in Anaheim, Knotts Berry Farm, closed early on a summer’s night specifically due to “too many teen altercations”.
First of all, kudos for Knotts Berry Farm for being responsible. In the same breath, it is unacceptable when a business has to take measures to insure the safety of their employees and customers, by closing its doors. Violence is never okay. And over-taking a business or person, is never okay.
13 hours ago (edited)As a Knotts worker, I can speak for the majority for all of us here at Knotts, this really pisses us all off. The parents drop of their kids with no supervision and expect us to “daycare”. These fools give Knotts a bad representation and ruin it for the rest of us. Knotts needs to implement higher prices of admission as well as season passes, an office for Buena Park Police Department, and parental supervision/ chaperone for minors under 18.
This deplorable behavior that seems to be rampant, has escalated. Crime is up. The recession is on. COVID is still of great concern. People globally are unable to sustain the basic needs of food and heat due to the astronomical rise in rates and prices
Why?
Why is the world unruly and rife with unanswered questions and runaway economies and rampant anger.
Look to your community first, address the troubled neighborhoods.
Keep in mind people kill for greed and money.
Are their enough jobs in your area or are the willing turning to crime?
Is the poverty index high? Why?
How is the school system?
When people prosper, neighborhoods and communities prosper.
Disregarding the problems and neighborhoods will not remove the thugs,, it will merely allow them to spread; such is the case with Knotts Berry Farm.
In case you are unfamiliar with Anaheim, which is where Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm are located, it is NOT an area after dark and barely during the day, you want to be in and drive around. Especially to find the freeway to go home after dark, after an all day park excursion.
Until, we change our economy, and our mindset regarding criminals, more will happen, rather than less.
