Business Ideas for the 60+, or side-hustles for seniors
First of all, being an entrepreneur is not easy. It takes, time, dedication and commitment. On the opposing side, it is great to do that which you want to do, rather than being told what and when to do it. Then again, knowing what’s expected and having your goals set out by someone else can take away that responsibility of knowing what to do.
At our mature stage of the game, we’ve had our careers, families, and now many of us are able to relax and take simpler jobs for extra cash or that’s all we now require in life.
To decide what type of business, you first need to think of your interests, that which makes you happy. The dream has to be yours. Working someone else’s dream does not work. Find what you like to do the most. The internet allows for any type of business. Even if you are marketer, you can find products and re-market them! Today, anything goes!
They now call them “side-hustles” I suppose because it’s a cool sounding name, but in our real world, we know you have to work your business all day, not an hour here and there. Starting your own business is not for the faint of heart or shy. You will have taxes if your business takes off and you’ll have to learn some social media platforms to notify people of your service or product. Most of all, owning and running your own business takes time, so above-all, ask if you have the time and of course, the sustaining inclination.
