Road Scholar Caregiver Grant Program Offers Solace and Respite to Caregivers

Are you currently, or have you recently served as, a primary caregiver for a loved one? Road Scholar is offering caregivers, ages 50 and older, who live in the United States, an incredible experiential learning travel opportunity!
Through the Road Scholar Caregiver Grants, the nation’s largest not-for-profit educational travel organization whose mission is to inspire adults to learn, discover, and travel is awarding scholarships of up to $1,300, to embark on a Road Scholar learning adventure based in the U.S. that costs up to $1,400.
Caregiver Grants eliminate cost as a barrier to participating in a Road Scholar learning adventure. The programs, which are available in 50 states, provide caregivers with a warm, inclusive community and much needed respite from the physical and emotional responsibilities of caring for a loved one.
All Road Scholar programs include accommodations, lectures, activities, meals, transportation within the program, taxes, gratuities and a travel assistance plan. Grant recipients are responsible for their round-trip travel to and from their destinations. All family caregivers who wish to experience the joys of educational travel are encouraged to apply.
