WALNUT ENCRUSTED SALMON WITH HONEY BACON GLAZE
For this walnut encrusted salmon with honey bacon glaze, our kitchen chose to substitute walnuts for the pecans. They also added honey to the maple syrup to the glaze. Their taste-testers liked the bacon drippings, but do not add the bacon crumbled, nor ontop of the salmon.
When coating the salmon, our kitchen used mayonnaise on the salmon and the walnuts with herbs layered and stayed on the salmon perfectly!
This recipe with those few modifications made for a wonderfully delightful dish. Even the salmon-non-believers and now salmon believers!
Enjoy this dish all year round! Healthy and delicious! …don’t think about the glaze, just focus on the salmon!
